Who allows 3306 port

Here is a good question what web hosting companies do allow you to have port 3306 open. Some examples would be good.

You're probably better off using Google to look for website hosts, its best if you contact the owners of the Website hosting company asking them if they support port 3306 before you sign up to anything.

Both ways....On your Router, Windows firewall and the Webserver firewall... so the scripts can talk to the MySQL server on your computer!

Typing in webhosts who allow port 3306 only brings up routers and port forwarding

so ive installed mysql community server on the playout pc.
i have opened port 3306 on my router and canyouseeme says sucess.
my web hosting provider has opened port 3306

yet the script still does not work. any ideas?

If the DB is not on the webhost you don't need to open port 3306 on the webhost.
You need to open port 3306 on the network path to the DB, what ever that is.

You need 3306 open on the webhost if you're using a request script

I asked shark hosting to open port 3306 they replied that is it done for you.

I asked have just asked them to allow outbound

We can open TCP outgoing ports only on shared hosting. Outbound ports can be opened on VPS only.

i got it working. since i asked them that request its working. in RadioDJ plugin can you hide
the persons id so it just says the song title - artist - listerner name and message
