Hey

Wondered if anyone has got radiodj working with a linux system called
Zorin. MariaDB i believe runs on Linux so i was just wondering if this has
been achieved yet. If not i got a friend who insists there is a way to fix
anything if you know how so i gave him the challenge lol

Zorin is based on Ubuntu and apart from it's Windows 7 like appearance has no special tools or programs to be able to run Windows programs other than Ubuntu has. So everything that has been said about running RadioDJ on Linux applies to Zorin too.

I wish your friend luck but I don't think the full functionality of RadioDJ on Linux won't be achieved I think. You can run the database on it though, that's no problem at all.

any particular reason you want to run it on Linux?
I would go with a windows VM if you don't want a dedicated box. (Which would be a good idea for our sustaining service version...hmmm....)
Helps run CoastFM in Penzance UK
Running 4 x 1.8.2.0
mariaDB and tracks on a central server.
