HOW TO UPDATE FROM THE LAST VERSION?

METHOD 1

1. Replace all your plugins (.dll files) with the new ones
2. Replace RadioDJ.exe with the new one
3. Replace PluginInterface.dll with the new one

METHOD 2

1. Unzip the new version somewhere on your HDD
2. Delete from the new package the settings files (they are named like settings_XXXXX.xml).
3. Copy all files from the new package over your old files in order to overwrite them.

ALTERNATE METHOD 3

1. Replace all the files with the new ones
2. Customize the settings for the program/plugins

Thanks Marius.  You do FANTASTIC work.    It is still early yet, but it appears that all of the issues I was having with the previous version are gone in RDJv1.6.5.7.     The only thing I have noticed is that given the same settings in Audio Processing, the audio now sounds slightly over- driven with the loss of some bass quality.  Not complaining.  I Love RDJ.

I'm testing it right now and the song repeat issue seems gone. In version 1.6.5.65 the problem was that RDJ was updating artist_played filed after selecting new songs for queue which resulted in current playing song being selected again.

I'll follow MySQLs genereal-log to see where is the issue if something goes wrong again.

The double-play issue also seems gone for now. At least I could not reproduce it by clicking play, stop and then play again.

I'm curious - what is that red x near vu meter? Tooltips would really help to understand what each button does.

only issue we had was double play and so far we are rolling along smooth and effective and we also notice that the load speed had picked up radio dj load faster than the last version

I can add tooltips, but for each element i must add multilingual support and is a time consuming work.
Until now, in that place was displayed two labels, one for sweeper and one for voicetrack. I modified that, and now is displaying all that info in one label, in the play order. The red x allows you to clear/stop the sweeper/vt.

All working as it should here, No pesky "watchdog" errors in the error logs, Songs are playing as they should, Nothing double playing.

Only thing i have noticed is playlist builder build playlist from rotation still isn't behaving. It clumps jingles together with one rotation and with another this happens it loads the same artist/song  twice.



It's loaded The Housemartins twice & The Cult 3 times. . When it should really only be loading them once.

There is this SQL error under events

could someone else try this to see if they are getting a double play when we're on air this morning we was playing lil jon and then the playlist was cleared and when the auto dj reset it was playing double when it reloaded a new play list and it bump the song that was playing and started playing the new play list that was set to play and it was not set to play with the (play!) setting

here how to re do what we did

have a song playing for about a min then
click the clear button while the song is playing
make sure your in autodj mode when your doing this
and let me know what you get before we say it a bug

Just tried what you suggested 704 and it's just reloading the playlist here without skipping to the next song. So that seems like a strange one. Have you checked the cue points on the songs involved?
