RadioDJ v1.6.5.8 Beta 4 RC1 Released!

Just gone to use Tag Sync. While it was syncing tags I went to delete something from the playlist  then rdj just froze.

I couldn't see the delete track warning box as it was now stuck behind tag sync which I now also cannot close. Just had to close RadioDJ via task manager.



There's nothing in the error logs just RadioDJ seems to be frozen.

It's probably a False/positive with Norton as Avast isn't flagging those files up as suspicious!

I would suggest ditching Norton as an anti virus solution besides the fact it hogs resources, even the CEO of Symantec said it was pile of crap this week....

Those 2 components are in rdj package for the last, maybe 4 years and only now they look suspicious to Norton?
Report for nerobar and for Vu-metter.

As you can see, again we are talking about the low usage of those files (WS.Reputation.1) and not about a real malware. From 52 antiviruses, only Norton is the smart-ass. Now, it's up to the users if they want to keep an antivirus that DELETES files that are not very popular instead of analyzing them and to find if there is indeed a problem. I would not pay a single cent for such an antivirus.

For eg. Avast also has that method of scoring the files, but at least it asks the user how he wants to proceed.

Apart from the 1 little hiccup with the tag sync earlier (Which I suspect was my fault) Me trying to do to many things at once. 

Its ran flawlessly all day. Songs are fading in/out like a charm, Jingles are loading fine via events best part is there's nothing showing up in the error logs in windows! So I reckon it's pretty much a release candidate.

RadioDJ v1.6.5.8 Beta 4 RC1 running fine here as well.   I've added categories moved files too and fro in Track Manager, events working terrific when enabled, disabled then re-enabled, rotations etc.  The only thing I haven't tried as yet is VT and will do so in the morning.

As for me Here Connecticut, (USA).. RadioDJ v1.6.5.8 Beta 4 RC1 running fine without any flaws or errors thus far.   I've added Say Time hourly, Track Manager, events working Superb when selected, Encoder is running smooth.  Since last night, almost 24 hours now still running Flawlessly...

Almost the End for SamB.. for me..  Can't wait to put it to rest, after 7 plus years.. RadioDJ will be the Future Me..

TTS player is at maximum volume and also has a AGC to maximize the output signal, but as you noticed some voices are just too quiet. What voice do you use?

Was working with voice tracks today and everything on my box is working great.   Did tests with dropping them directly into the slot player via drag from the search pain as well as clicking on the V and selecting then let them play for an hour with a few on Intros and on Start.   Went and build a few playlists (Marius Love the new Playlist Builder Layout) and popped in jingles, sweepers, and voice tracks and worked as expected.     This RadioDJ V1.6.5.8 Beta 4 RC1  is cookin' for me:cool:
