OnePlayRadio, did you made the change from the list?
- Plugin SayTime audio files must now reside in Plugins folder under "Plugin_SayTime" in order to improve folder structure logic [NEW];

Thank you Marius for your answer. I only upgraded from version 2.0.0.0.1 to the current version. I still have all the settings as they were, but I don't know how to make the change you indicate. Is there a manual?

Thanks!

Just rename the "SayTime" folder (which is containing the Say Time audio files) from the plugins directory to "Plugin_SayTime".

No worries.  ;)

Marius, I'm sorry to bother you so much with small things, but now the SayTime works, but the time indicates it as if you were editing the files or not letting them finish, for example:

"It's 7:00 in the morning | with 35 minutes."

And it sounds like: "It's 7:00 in the morningwith 35 minute."  (with "S" missing)

Sounds like the announcer is in a hurry to tell the time.... For the moment I'm going to see if I can silently give a few thousandths of a second to the minute files so that they don't sound so close together or together, but I don't know if it will end completely (minute by minuteS).

Thanks!

Hey Marius,

Thanks so much for this update, I'm really looking forward to testing it/rolling it out.

Can I ask, did you manage to implement disabling/enabling the audio processing plugin in events?

Andrew.

(IMPORTANT: Due some differences between the old and new version of MySQL ADO.NET driver)
Does this just apply to mySQL or do we need to update mariaDB in the same manor ?
And thanks for great software.

Only check the SSL option when you are using MySQL 8.

Read the first instruction of this post. It's this part:
QuoteTo update to this version, close the program, run the installer which will copy the new files, preserving your settings, then start the Database Setup utility and if you're using the new MySQL server, check the SSL option, otherwise leave it unchecked.

So do not check the SSL option when you are using MariaDB.

Concerning this part:
QuoteIn Database Setup utility, go to "Database Utils" and "Database Update" section and select "RadioDJv2\Setup\Sql\2.0.0.3 TO 2.0.0.4.sql" to update the database.

You have to execute that for MySQL and MariaDB

AFAIK MariaDB is supposed to be getting SH256 support (I'm not already sure if they've implemented it in the latest versions or not) I'm using my MariaDB on Linux and there hasn't been an update for that in a while so I'm still connecting without SSL.

I have not updated MariaDB in a while (probably time I did) but will be doing a fresh install on a laptop later today so will let you know.

The latest version should be 10.3.7 which i'm using on a second PC.

You don't have to use the SSL setting for that.

I know very little about web site programing and such but the new version of MariaDB 10.3.7 says
"The embedded server library now supports SSL when connecting to remote servers."
Is this the same thing or something else.
always learning  :)
