Now playing info plugin "Export to web" problem

Hi !
Tonight, i tried to make title metadatas to work with Sam cast studio encoder, using "Export to web" function of the Now playing info plugin.
Sam cast can accept http requests to update artist - title metadatas, so i did the following settings:
URL: http://localhost:8181
Custom data: artist=$artist$ - $title$

and... it worked !!
but i could observe two problems:
When a jingle is played, the options/stream titles/jingle settings are not respected and "artist and title" was sent to Sam cast instead of the station slogan like it should do...
French accents was displayed in Sam cast windows as garbage as well as in my stream player, but i suspect Sam cast to not respect the right character encoding...

Maybe my first observation is a bug in this plugin no??

it said garbage because that what the company is and it was tell you about the company it work for lol  that company stink forcing people out of the lifetime agreement forcing people out there lifetime updates  forcing people to pay for the software and charging for tech support the software high and the support for is high to , my bad you ask about getting the Sam cast to work well Sam cast belong to some one else that got brought out so it a old software that never got updated so you may get luck on some thing and not so lucky on other fam

This isn't a RadioDJ or plugin bug. It simply wasn't designed to be used with that software.

When you're using custom data, the auto title is disabled.
If needed i could add another variable, something like $auto_title$, which will contain the auto title you've set for each track type.
Currently the encoding is ASCII, but it can be changed to UTF8.

Thanks for the replies ! so i think i will go back to my old Edcast standalone waiting a full compatibility with Shoutcast 2...
Sad to see that this software cannot simply pick metadatas up from a text file, or to adapt characters encoding... It's the simpliest way to pick metadatas no?

No idea quite whats gone wrong but our now playing export to web just seems to have stopped sending the update to website. It was working fine until a couple of days ago. I have deleted and replaced the required files within RDJ and it's still not working. Any ideas?

I wanted to use this plunning but it does not have the area to function for export in php.
My config is: radiodj 1.8.2 plunning included in version
May be that it no longer works with this verse of radiodj
If someone to a solution I want well thanks in advance

j'ai voulut utiliser ce plunning mais il n'a pas l'aire de fonctioner pour l'export en php.
ma config c'est : radiodj 1.8.2 plunning compris dans la version
peut etre qu'il ne marche plus avec cette vers de radiodj
si quelqu'un à un solution je veux bien merci d'avance

There is a php script in the downloads section for this exact situation I do believe.

it's Called Now Playing -> http://www.radiodj.ro/download/scripts/NowPlaying.zip <- This is the php version of it.
