I confirm the same bug that linawebradio reported: the music volume is lowered only on the first track and back to normal on the second and during that VT is muted.

Marius

I also noticed, and i fixed the bug.

I know it's still early days of beta testing but version 4 with the fixed PL builder it seems to be running solidly for me. Got it working with the some encoder DSP plugin and some encoder plugin for SC2. Everything is running brilliantly!

Great work as always Marius you need a Holiday after this comes out of the testing stage!  :cool:

Oh dear, i go away on work related business for two days and two new beta's pop up   ???
That is some fast work, my hat is off to Marius for getting things done this fast.
I'm unfortunately still having my sweeper issues though, it feels like i'm cursed or something  :'(

To answer john's question from the previous topic : my sweeper settings under auto dj in the options is set to play a sweeper if the intro for the song is over 10 seconds, and i've generously set the intro's to over 18 seconds.
It still doesn't want to play nice though, despite a clean install of the new beta and even making a fresh MySQL database just to rule out PEBKAC on my end.

Hi Marius!
I tested this BETA4 now (in another PC)
But unfortunately I have issues again with volumes and stopping music bed when using overlay files...
as we had already seen together...
I need help!

UPDATE!
I have also issues with VT: when the voiceover track starts over the final of previous song, RDJ lowers the music as it should, but when the next music track starts, RDJ do not lower the music and so the rest of the voiceover is at the same level of music  :(
And sometimes randomly it happens just as radio41 with BETA3: I heard the music volume goes lower but the VT is mute.
That's very strange Marius!
Sorry for being too pressing and disturbing but what I've wrote on above quoted post do not happens on the PC we have tested together with TV. It was a third PC and music fade on Overlay and stopping music-bed with overlay did not work.

Today I have tested fresh-installed-BETA4 on PC we tested together before with TV, and always worked fine (except for the VoiceTrack  issue with volume of the second music track you have already fixed)

Why could this happen?
I hope that when I'll install 1.6.5.8 FINAL on on-air studio everything would work fine!

The way the option works you must set the timer greater than the length of your intro or else it will only play the sweeper on the start of the track. If your intros are set to 18 seconds you need to set it greater than 18 seconds. You can just set it to the max of 120.

Ah, so the description of the function is a bit misleading then.
I'll set it to the highest possible setting and report back ASAP.
[edit] it does indeed work that way, thanks very much for the pointers John, it's much appreciated.
Now i just need to figure out a way to make it also play sweepers on tracks that have them if i manually add them to the play queue, but that's a matter for another day.[/edit]

Just hit the button to the right of the + sign above the auxiliary players to play sweepers manually.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Marius

@thebigmg, i don't know how did you updated, but you missed some files.
The first update method only applies to the beta versions. If you update from a stable version, you should use replace all .dll and exe file with the new ones.
