Just wanting to get people's opinions on the sound of my stream..

I recently bought a damn expensive encoder which is allowing my 128k streams to sound much much cleaner, close to a 192k stream. To add to that I also have an Omnia processor covering the processing. Would love to hear your thoughts - ignore the music rotations though, I just imported a whole load of music  :)

Yes, the sound is not bad, maybe too much bass sound, but with an Omnia processor I would expect something better. What kind of Omnia do you use? The software processor or a piece of hardware? Which preset do you use?

Stream sounds nice but too much processing that makes the sound a little "muddy". The release time is a little slow. It sounds to me it is set up like a 3 band processor. Bass is nice, a bit sloppy but ok. You can make that thighter with an Omnia.

I'm running the 9/xe app rather than hardware, my servers are hosted so hardware is out of the question.

Preset: I run a modified version of the Kiss preset. Originally it was too hardcore in a sense, but the other presets where rumbling way too heavily. As for bass I've reduced the gain slightly as it felt too over powering, instead I'm running Leif Claesson's clunk addon plugin to give it a little more slap.

My reasoning for using the Omnia solution is purely for their undo, decliper & encoders. In preference I actually prefer the sound of an Optimod, hence why I'm using Leif's clunk & slam plugin. I'll have another tweaking session tonight once I'm away from work.
