I know I've promoted Sound Empire caster since i first discovered it a good couple of years ago now.
I would like Testimonials from users of SECaster s I can add them to a post on my blog. The more people we can convince to use freely available software the better in my book.

Personally i think its one of best stand alone encoders going... But I don't run a stream with it.

I use it for almost 2 years. At first I use BUTT for a stream and SE CASTER 1.1.5, for a second one.
And for some time I have deleted BUTT and I use it to send both streams.
It works pretty well after the only thing I do not know if it's related but since I use it alone occasionally it can not send the titles to the servers (1 shoutcast and the other one IceCast) obliged to restart the program.
I wanted to update it in version 1.1.6 masi I can not find it the only version is 1.2.7, but as it is considered a demo, I have not made the step yet.
AFAIK you can ignore the demo key requirement in 1.2.7 for now and it will function as a normal encoder. If it does become a paid for POS I will cross that bridge when it happens.
