I've managed to extract some posts from database back up and i've stuck them on Blogger after the disaster with the VPS.
I don't want any discussion about how I screwed up its been pecking at my head since it went boom... Its done & dusted >:D I couldn't have carried on with the VPS I was winging it at best in the first place.
Anyhow NOT every post will be going back on this blog site. its got the Most important ones on for now. At the end of the day I'm still mentally exhausted from everything that's gone on this year. Crazy to think its 8 months since i lost TechMonkey

I've managed to extract 40 odd posts from an SQL backup and get the posts up on Blogger.
I think that's all the posts I'm extracting from my old site.
I may or may not post more but right now I'm seeing html code in my sleep.
Now up to 70 posts on the new blog :bash:
Having combed through database backups from last year I think I've just about managed to extract everything that needed extracting. well the Important posts anyhow.
I will try and blog where possible but i just don't have the same get up and go that I used to have. Its been tiring sorting a new blog site out. At least these posts should be permanent thats one thing i don't have to worry about..
I've been working hard this past couple of days getting the layout and theme of the blog sorted.
Now all the hard work is done I can relax sit back and post when i can think of something to post.

I think I've extracted all the posts I humanly could from an old SQL backup. There's nothing else that i can see that needs extracting that is still relevant lots of posts weren't relevant.
I've now done 100 posts and 3 pages... I need a break from it now I'm seeing HTML code in my sleep. :hihi:

122 Posts 4 pages.... I've been through it with a fine tooth comb to try and iron out any mistakes I think they're all written without errors, If there are any mistakes it my dyslexia getting the better of me
I will add more posts/tutorials when I can think of them right now my brain is frazzled its been 2 months of extremely hard work trying to get a blog up and running again

I've spent the weekend doing the last bits of polishing on posts and publishing more blog posts.
140 posts and 5 pages It given me something to focus on under lockdown.
It feels like this COVID will be with us for years to come. The only hope of course is a vaccination.

There's a few things I still need to learn but on the whole I know more about GIMP than I did last week :bash:
And with a BIT of practise I've managed to do this in GIMP I think I'm slowly getting the hang of graphics in GIMP although I'm still green around the gills though.

I've been watching the traffic build up on my blog over the past few months.
Last Month (October 2021) I had 5167 visitors to my blog. I'm obviously doing something right somewhere.
I'm HUMBLED by the traffic, It makes me feel happy :cool:
Since I started my new blog I've had 52938 visitors Total.
