The latest beta is available to download!
It uses the same database schema as the previous beta release, so to update it, just replace the files with the new ones.
I strongly recommend to test the version first and if everything is fine, just then to think to put it in production environment.
PS: Some antivirus may continue to alert you, but it's a false positive. Sorry for that.

YAY!!! I guess I better get testing....
First thing I've noticed is the Installer stays in the taskbar after the install completes. I had to use task manager to shut it down.
Installer loaded fine here @DJ Garybaldy. Just the Windows Red Screen warning thingy.
Did a Fresh DB and Install. Loaded about 3 thousand songs and will let it perform for a day or two.
So far out of the Box it's playing all events, Jingles and tracks in rotation as set up.
Love the Flashing Events Feature when Disabled :cool:

So far, everything loaded fine, imported current database, and is up and testing. No issues with the installer.
It's no BIG Deal, but not too excited about the Flashing Events Feature. Would prefer it to be just solid red when disabled, but that's just me. Better than it was. Definitely gets your attention. :D

I just installed the new version with about 1000 tracks + jingles. I noticed that next to the cover image there is a number 1. What is it?

Hi Marius , Can the Stop Events Button have the option to be moved off (or hidden)the main screen? We have presenters that accidentally (allegedly) enable this and pre recorded shows are not being played on air
I think this was asked some time ago ... Great new version .. Keep up the great work :)
Phil if you read the Changelog it says there's a feature intended for the Pro version where you will be able to hide the Stop Events Button
As to when the Pro version will be available I don't know ATM

I just installed v2.0.3.0. and currently i' am testing this version because i intend to upgrade the production environment version (v2.0.0.6) if everything goes well.
In order to avoid any issues i installed a new database from scratch; i uploaded manually the songs for the main categories but i have a problem with the Oldies category where there are around 1000 songs spread in different folders in windows. It's a tedious process to import them manually, and i'am wondering if you know any workaround to transfer a song category from one database to another (SQL Command for ex). I use MariaDB.

Today, I reinstalled the new version and the STOP EVENTS button worked, (when I deactivated the button it flashed red, when I activated it it remained active). After setting sound cards and various parameters and restarting the software, the STOP EVENTS button remains inactive again.
Maybe I have downloaded the incorrect version again? :bash: :bash:

this happens to me too, but only if in the options set it with my language of PORTUGUESE if set with the language ENGLISH does the button work
it is assumed that the translation does not yet have this option to translate the blink function and it lock the button
we should wait for someone in the program's translations to be able to blame this little error

Another anomaly that remains the same as in beta version 2.0.2.0 neta new 2.0.3.0 when you click on the button to clear the plylist that is visible it erases and appears again the same plylist the same cntores the same songs in version 2.0.2.0 I already I had mentioned that observation in this new verse remains the same

It works already but on a clean install
importing database backup from previous version 2.0.2.0 does not work

(It appears to work as if the stop events button is disabled by default)

I downloaded v2.0.3.0 yesterday afternoon at 6:00pm Central Time US and immediately put it on line. (I have faith!)
24 hours later and it works beautifully! No problems showed up!

That's because the playlist is not random, it calculates which tracks are better filling your repeat rules and then picks them.

Slight issue with 2030 cueing up the song that just moved into the player.
Its done it a few times now
Its happened a few times while I've been watching the bottom of the queue.
Other than that the beta appears to be working solidly here.
Interface > Shortcut Buttons > Event Button (Square Button)
Please consider changing this to use an icon of a CLOCKFACE (i.e. timed Events)
and when the Events System is ACTIVE
- make the button's background color = green (universal for ON)
- make the Tooltip on hover to display "Disable Events", the current phrase "Stop Events" does not match the function of disabling the event system.
and when the Events System is DISABLED
- make the button's background color = red (universal for OFF / STOP)
- do not flash the color (too distracting / annoying)
- consider using an icon of a CLOCKFACE with the universal NO Symbol on top of the COLCKFACE (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/31/ProhibitionSign2.svg/1200px-ProhibitionSign2.svg.png)
- change the Tooltip on hover to display "Enable Events"
- stop the countdown to the next event, since the Events System is disabled
- change the countdown to the next event to read "Event System is Disabled"
I also noticed that the icon was gray and did not react to clicking on it.
After I loaded the Configuration > Options > Settings dialog box, and clicked the button labeled "Close", then the Shortcut Buttons Bar was re-rendered, and the icon displayed red and was able to be clicked.
This bug repeated it's behavior everytime RadioDJ was launched, the icon was gray and options dialog needed to be opened then closed to re-render the shortcut bar and enabled the icon and it's color.

XML Settings Files > settings_database.xml
I noticed in the config > settings dialog box, the checkbox for the option to store settings in the database has been removed.
The file settings_database.xml has the key "StoreSettingsToDatabase" value=True
Does this mean all settings are stored in the database, and those xml files can be removed?
Plugins > Now Playing
I had to exit radio dj,
move the 5 files in the folder "\PlugIns"
Plugin_PlayingInfo.dll
Plugin_PlayingInfo.xml
Plugin_PlayingInfo_network_items.xml
Plugin_PlayingInfo_streamserver_items.xml
Plugin_PlayingInfo_web_items.xml
and move them to the folder "\Plugins_NotActive" (my naming convention)
then restart RadioDJ to have the new plugin named "MetadataExport" to work properly.
Also, I add to JHonny's bug report that on the tab named "Stream Server" all fields and checkboxes are disabled and unable to gain focus.

Hi Adrinto, indeed that property was removed in this release, but i cannot find in the current package a single reference to that property, so i suspect that you are using a plugin from the previous release and that's causing this error. It's easy to check, go to the plugins folder and all plugin should have the same modified date (all should be from 2021), if one is older, it's from the previous release.

It also tried to queue up another song by the same artist as well.
As you can see from the image it's already playing bucks Fizz and RadioDJ has put another song by them at the bottom of the queue

For some reason i thought that you were editing the cue points and the track got added to the playlist.
Any errors in the logs? I wonder if the played artist date time gets updated.
Just checked in the database songs column and the date played is updating on the artist/songs that were causing the artist to be put back at the bottom of the queue :bash:

As reported by others on Event Suspension no other issues encountered.
Nice Job on the extra Options in REPORTS types.
Also great new addition types of Rules in Rotations.
I tested for "Least Times Play" with over 3000 songs set Song and Title to 1800 in Options and NOT ONE Duplicate in Three Days! Nice one Marius.

When trying to drag and drop a song from History tab to playlist queue i get this error and the application becomes unresponsive. I have to close it from task manager.
Update: I noticed that this error occurs only if i have moved the History tab in plugin zone 4. When moving back the history tab in plugin zone 3 this error doesnt occur anymore.

I'm trying this new beta version and it looks great!
However I'm still facing few problems with voicetracks, somehow related to songs with Start cuepoint further than 0.
Let me dig better into this.
Let's say we have 3 songs with 2 voicetracks:
Song1
Song2 (start point far from zero) + VT1 (longer than intro)
Song3 (start point not influent) + VT2 (longer than intro)
In this case Song1 plays, VT1 overlaps the switch with Song2 till the Intro point of Song2 correctly.
BUT when we reach the next song switch (between song2 and song3) VT2 timing will be completely messed up and it will not play when we expect it to play.
Not sure I've been able to explain clearly the problem, in case just contact me and I will make a video.
Also, if you import a song (and set Start Cue Point far from zero, Intro, Outro, Next Start, End) when you import it into a playlist and open up the Temporary Edit Cue, the cuepoints will not show up correctly.
That's all so far ;)

Resolved!
I just updated all existing Events and inserted new action with current Plugin action, called "Metadata Export".
In the 2020 I used with METADATA EXPORT a custom XML template with $comment$ variable but in the new 2030 the comment variable is not exported.

Installed the new beta version (2030) Saturday. This morning (Monday) Windows Defender gave a serious virus warning saying the executable contains a trojan (Zpevdo.b)

Hi again, today i tested this event action and it works at least for me. Any chance that you have some error in the sql? Can you please send me a sample that is not working for you to see what is happening?

on a clean install of version 2.0.3.0 there are 2 plugins dated not 2021 as you can see
as stated then in a clean installation there should be all plugins dated 2021 .
therefore they are not correct in version 2.0.3.0 so please fix in version 2.0.3.0
