Go "Tracks Manager" (bottom left of screen), then choose the category where you and to set cue points of tracks. Right click over desired track and select "Edit Cue" (sorry I got the name wrong). Another window will launch where you can make the precise required settings.

You can also get to Edit Cue when importing individual tracks. Choose "Cue Editor", bottom left of window.

Hope that helps!
I can easily extract the Apple Lossless album art with Mp3tag (as folder.jpg) into individual album folders, but I don't know how to associate them with the songs in RadioDJ in bulk, if that's even possible.

MP3Tag V3 introduced the ability to create an action that converts the Album Art to a maximum size you set, plus convert the image type to a specific image type file (say .jpg) then exports Album Art where ever you wish, and name it using tags from the mp3.

I did this, then made a simple SQL Query to change the image's filename in the RDJ database to match the file in the artwork folder.

So, in mp3Tag, convert all your artwork to .jpg and export it somewhere.  Name the images using the %filename% tag.  Then have your SQL query rename the image field in the songs table to the path where the artwork is stored, plus the filename.

Here's the SQL I used to do this:
Code: [Select]
UPDATE songs
SET `image` = CONCAT(SUBSTRING_INDEX(SUBSTRING_INDEX(songs.path, '.mp3', 1), "\\", -1),".jpg") WHERE songs.song_type = 0;

We used JockeyPro many years ago.  RadioDJ is light years ahead of that program in features, design, implementation, and stability.  And it's FREE!  Can you believe that?

I'm sure once you install RadioDj and take it for a walk you will be very impressed.  Plus, you don't have to enter a program key anytime you upgrade or re-install RadioDJ.

Good luck and have fun!!! :ok:

Tutorials / Newbie help needed

First of all many thanks for creating such a great software. I'm a hardcore pc hardware and software user with limited database skills. I followed the tutorials with exact instructions. Installed MariaDB, created database with RadioDJ many times. Everytime i run RadioDJ Ireceive a "Warning an exception occured. Please see the logs" error. I can't create folders, subfolders, import tracks. Nothing seems to work.

I checked FAQ's on the support site couldn't find a solution. Only a post with a user's error log uploaded and no information was followed up.

I had no other option left so I need to ask for help and appreciate if someone could help. My exception log is attached.

Running Windows 10 Pro 64
MariaDB 10.5.2 x64
Many thanks for your kind help. I run software as administrator. No changes.

Heidi Sql is correctly installed. Login details correctly entered. Install database works normally. Radio DJ detects database correctly and opens the main RadioDJ screen and immediately exception messages start. Cannot achieve anything after that.

Think you have to do a database repair.

Something wrong with the database.

Re: Let CUE editor be your friend... Each and every track can have it's start and end points, intros and outros (where sweepers/voiceovers play over) and other features.

I don't see "Cue Editor".
