Audio Logger for last 90 days

Hi, I have seen here the presence of the plug-in records.
I wonder if it is possible to create a plug-in that acts as audio logger.
Radio stations need to record the last 90 days of transmission. Usually, the audio logger on the market are stand-alone programs that record the audio going through your sound card and create the segments of an hour each.
The program starts automatically at system startup and at any time you can select the audio of a given period and listen to it while the program records.

I bet that uses some serious disk space....

What format are you looking for? - .wav? - .mp3?

that need to be mp3 or something that compress smaller wav will be out of the question because it will eat up hard drive space

Usually it comes to software that allow you to set the recording quality. The preferred format is. Mp3 to low quality (also mono).
Regarding the disk space is not an issue. Often you put hard drives dedicated. You think that even today, some radios like ours, they use the old DVR to record audio on VHS.
Some examples of these software.

OK, I see. That shouldn't be too terribly difficult to implement.

I needed to update the record plugin anyway, so I'll see what I can do. :)

What could be a recording time safer is only record when the live button or a stream is active. The music you can export the played items in a very usefull exel form.
