Thanks Gary. If you're testing with a new db, can you please use the new plugininterface.dll posted on this topic: http://www.radiodj.ro/community/index.php?topic=4979.0 and make a fresh db to see if it fixes this bug?
From what are you describing, i'm almost sure that it has to do with the decimal separator, because it won't recognize the correct values.

Didn't know there was a problem with that part of RDJ will test again tomorrow using the updated plugininterface.dll file.

Sadly updating the plugininterface.dll hasn't fixed anything just reinstalled the DB and re imported tracks and they are still showing as 23:59:59

Hi Marius!
I tryed 1.6.5.8 BETA2 and here is my experience:

1) Downloaded and fresh-installed Beta 2
2) Create a DB with Database Setup
3) Restored DB from version 1.6.5.7
4) Run RadioDJ

- Now VT files LOADS but DO NOT PLAY!  :'(
UPDATE! Sorry Marius but I shutted down Windows and restarted it: now it works!! I do not know why...  :-[

- Sweepers work good either in Playlist Builder mode, and in On-Air-Manually.  :ok:
- Play As Overlay files still do not work: as in Beta 1, the music do not fade down and do not stop when next track finishes.  :'(

I have done the same testing whit a new fresh Database (not restored), and the issues are the same!  :'(

But fortunately I do not have CUE points issue. I can save them and they work fine...  :ok:

Here are my Local settings attached

I would like to say thanks to everyone in this Forums from Admin to the regular helpers.. Big Thank you to all of you..

Just started to test RadioDJ form SamBroadcaster 4.9.0.. Now I am trying to get a hang of the RadioDJ.. Look great.. I like everything for the version 1.6.5.7 thus far to up until I try the new v1.6.5.8 Beta 2 released..

The issue I am having is my music didn't transfer from the v1.6.5.7 to the Beta version, I had to re-imported all the tracks. Maybe I am doing something wrong. I need to know before I completely leave the Sambroadcaster?

Also the Say Time plugin does work for me, I am not sure if it is at work or in progress,  I appreciate all the help in advance..

Besides the issues I mentioned.. after I loaded all the tracks, it is run okay for now. If I find new Issues I will report..

Thanks again massive and Crew..

You can do a backup of you database from 1.6.5.7 and restore it on 1.6.5.8Beta2

In PC you are running 1.6.5.7:
1) Open RadioDJ>Setup>Database Setup
2) Click on "Database Backup"
Usually Backup is stored under RadioDJ>Setup>Backup
3) Pick the Backup file ad transfer it on the PC you want to run 1.6.5.8Beta2

In PC you are running 1.6.5.8Beta2:
1) Open RadioDJ>Setup>Database Setup
2) Click on "Restore Database"
3) Choose the backup file from 1.6.5.7 you want to transfer

Obviously you must transfer from PC to PC also the music files and store them on the same path.

The database was not changed for this beta version, so i think something is wrong in your database setup. You should open RDJ install path/setup and launch database setup.exe and check your settings...

I really hate to drop in with a question as my first post, but this one's doing my head in : i cannot for the life of me get sweepers to start on song intro's.
Now, perhaps i'm just being a massive eejit and doing it wrong, but i've checked out what little guides there are, and as far as i can tell i'm doing it 'by the book' so to speak.

So, i'll describe what i'm trying to do :
On startup, i have a startup event running that enables an events category (default, as that is my only event category for now), i make it set my sweepers to daily (as i only have daily sweepers until i get things running), then i make it load a track from a specific category (station ID), and make RAdioDj play it.
Next up i have the event starting my rotation (only have one at the moment to simplify things), which is set to play my heavy rotation songs, at random, and it is set to play sweepers on intro.
I have assigned sweepers to a number of songs, and i have double checked they are listed as active sweepers (they are).
I have set intro's to these songs by hand, confirmed that the songs cue files have proper start, intro, outro, next song and end markers set.
I have confirmed that editing cue files works and edits are properly being saved (my system was set to english by default, so no issues there).

Now, when RadioDJ starts, it runs the event, and it does everything it is supposed to do...
Except it isn't playing the sweepers on intro, no matter what i do.
I can make it play sweepers on start, but that's about it, and it's obviously not very useful to me as i'm trying to play sweepers on song intro's.

I'm using this particular beta version of RadioDJ from a clean install, as i saw mention of sweepers not playing on intro too well in the release version, and i am currently not receiving any errors.
RadioDJ does almost everything, only the sweepers on intro function is not working at all.
If anyone has any ideas, i'd be very grateful.
I'm willing to vidcap the process if need be, and willing to provide copies of whatever files are necessary to troubleshoot my problem.

What sweeper options do you have set in the Options-AutoDJ options tab. You may have the timer set too short. Try setting it to a higher value.

Thanks linawebradio, I don't thing that will be necessary because I have already the directory for v1.6.5.7 and manually load the music. Time consuming, I save the information' you've gave for the next version. Thanks a million.. RadioDJ Looks superb I cannot wait to rid of Sam..

By the way the Say-Time Pluging is working.

Thanks as usual

Hi Marius,

Great work on this Beta 2! I'm using it right now!

I've found these:

- The 'Loop'-buttons on the Cart Players do not function.
- When adding Manual Events using Song Rotations, the events are listed in the playlist but not executed until it needs to play.
For example: when I add a manual event to load a song from a category, it sits in the playlist as "Event Name" and only when this item is to be played, it actually loads a track from the specified category. This results in silence, since my songs are being loaded over a network.
If I click the 'Play'-button on the event while it sits halfway the playlist, it is executed and placed to the top of the playlist. It doesn't play however.
(I know: loading tracks from a category can be done using a Rotation, this is just an example)

Keep up the good work!  :ok:

Marius

Thank you Rogier for both things you made for me, i really appreciate it.
- I think that you are talking about the aux players, where indeed loop is not functioning.
- this issue is already fixed.

I hope that later today i will be able to release a new beta with these bug fixes.

Thanks again!
Marius.

Hi Marius,

Yes indeed, I was mistaken: it's the Aux Players' Loop function.
Can't wait for the next function ;)
