Hi All,

Been using RDJ for months with no issues.

This morning I get this warning message.

RDJ  boots and works except for this....

Resolved by selecting the shortcuts in general settings!

Strange that your shortcuts reset/lost themselves though...  :bash:

Never came across an issue like this that's for sure glad you resolved it though.

This just happened to me, too.  And to be clear, it's the settings xml files that got munched.  I have no idea what happened to my computer, but the encoders crashed and their windows were completely unresponsive and would not be killed using an End Task in the Task Manager.  I shut down both copies of RDJ that were running and they closed normally, or so it seemed.  I then found the computer would not respond to a restart command, and had to be hard reset.  When it came back up, RDJ threw the type conversion error - both copies of RDJ.

After reading this thread, I checked the dates on the settings xml files and replaced those that had today's date with ones from a backup.  Problem solved.

Goes to show how IMPORTANT a backup of your RadioDJ program folder and databases can be... I always back mine up with the release of a new version.
