Individual Setting on Assigned Sweepers

In the window where we assign unique sweepers to a track
It would be great if we could select an option to have the sweepers always play in the intro or at start regardless of what the rotation is suppose to do. Here's why:

I have all my rotations running sweepers on start as I have no time to manually program in cue points for all my tracks but I have a few songs that have immediate vocals / intro times of less than a second.

Note: Switching rotations to intro sweepers won't work as it skips playing sweepers if there's no intro time set.

I've been forced to assign a near silent half second sweeper to these immediate vocals tracks to avoid a conflicting audio... but if I could manually set these tracks to run sweepers in the intro, my sweepers will play before that 0 to 1 second intro cue point.

What you did is the best solution for your needs, I think. I believe it's not possible to play a sweeper before the start of a song, but Marius could explain it.

I have ID's from artists for those songs so I hope I could get them to play before the song without going over those immediate vocals.

A sweeper after an Id is the worst way of broadcasting, but that's just my 2 cents

It may require some sort of mysql query to accomplish what you want to happen.

I don't know if RadioDJ can do it but in another radio automation program, I would create a query that could read what the next song was in the playlist/queue that is to be played and then it found the matching "artist song ID" and loaded that ID to the top so it would play just before the song it was announcing played.

The query took place a few seconds after the currently playing song got started.

In the near future this may be possible with RadioDJ. Fingers crossed!
