Question about TTS - SAY TIME feature.

Hi Everyone. I would like to ask if there is any setting to change the TTS - SAY TIME to 12 hour cycle...like TTS would announce the 1:25 PM as "ONE HOUR and TWENTY-FIVE minutes" instead of "THIRTEEN HOURS and TWENTY-FIVE minutes" ???

It's the way english people do. And it says PM, so it's understandable. If you want to hear "THIRTEEN HOURS and TWENTY-FIVE minutes" you have to rerecord all the files in the folder Plugins --> SayTime

I know about the SAY TIME Plug-in but I want to incorporate TIME in TTS when speaking and saying THIRTEEN instead ONE sounds weird if you're from ASIAN time zone :)

I never used TTS, but the easiest way to do that is like I wrote: record again Saytime files

Create a new TTS text file inside the TTS Template folder and in it type what you want it to say. Then use the Event schedule to trigger it via Event Plugin Action.

Works very well.

I know exactly how to do your suggestion...but I want TTS to detect my current TIME ( $now-hour$ and $now-minute$ )...and I don't want it to say THIRTEEN to a 1PM or SIXTEEN to 4PM. What I am looking is if there is a setting in TTS to change that.

Hi I am not asking about SAY TIME Plug-in, I know it is a recorded voice...It's the SAY TIME that's built-in the TTS Plug-in I am asking about.

I got it! After looking at all available stream variables in Docs folder, I found this $now-shorttime$.
I used it instead of $now-hour$ and $now-minute$. Works perfectly!  :)

Glad you got it worked out - that's how I use it.
