Broadcasting to Auto DJ - Icecast

So, I was thinking about trying broadcasting directly to /autodj in the Radio DJ software. That way my remote hosts can go live with their shows instantly taking over the broadcast. Would this work? Has anyone tried this?

Also if I do this will the server still kicked to autodj if I lose all power or internet in the studio?
