no encoder support i am staying with 1.8.2 I have to much time invested to keep trying this or that stand alone. It gets to the point of just stick with what works.

I need multiple stream encoder because i have more stations on one machine.

I tried BUTT with VAC, it works great - multiple streams.
I just don t know how to set automatic start up of multiple BUTT with diferent settings - in case of computer restart.

I read Butt manuals but im not a programer and dont understand this:
"The command line option -c <path_to_file> allows you to define a new standard configuration path."

Can somebody help?

I believe you would create a batch file calling up each instance of BUTT with the command line switch.

https://danielnoethen.de/manual.html

(See section 4, config)

For Windows 8/10, you'll want to put a shortcut to that batch file in the Startup folder using the following instructions:

http://www.thewindowsclub.com/startup-folder-in-windows-8

Hope this helps.

I understand needing a file to launch BUTT or other encoders but really you cant spend a few seconds to do it yourself? is the power that bad in your area? I would invest in a UPS backup before anything else. That way it doesnt kill your PC before anything else.

me too
I'm going back to 1.8.2
Stand alone encoders is shit
instead of leaving more options .....
that there will be no misunderstandings
Radiodj is ingeniously designed and working verry well, just closing options is very disturbing for me

You might want to hang fire for the paid for version of RadioDJ... That's going to have built in encoders if they really mean that much to you.

Oh and for the record stand alone encoders aren't S**t as you said, I used them all the time after I switched from SAM 7 years ago now.

Having a stand alone encoder frees up RadioDJ to do what it does best Automate music/jingles/promos etc... I never had Edcast fail on me like the encoders in S*M did on several occasions.

Topic Locked No further discussion needed about Plugins from RadioDJ 1.8.2 not working in RadioDJv2 its already been discussed at length.
