Sound Card Issues?

Does RDJ 2.0.0.6 require a real sound card or is there a virtual sound card option?

You can use Virtual Audio Cables alongside RadioDJ

 Ive burned almost a week trying to find a soundcard that delivers what is explained below..

Can anyone recommend a suitable soundcard/interface to use in order to give me a minimum of 3 channels to 3 faders on the mixer to give me full control over deck 1 - deck 2 - commercials etc fader 3 via RadioDJ.
I imagine when I connect a soundcard it will be seen in soundcards in RDJ I can then allocate faders to inputs on the ext soundcard?..Thanks!  & What is DirectSound?
