[SOLVED] "Any subcategory" missing when category is chosen

Hello,

It seems that I can't choose "Any subcategory" when a Category like music is chosen.

I want to search inside "Music" category only.

Is it normal that I can't do that?

I saw that a post was dedicated to add this functionnality in a previous version.

Ah...

So, how can I separate VoiceOver tracks from music tracks when searching in the database?

Because some tracks are music only and some other are music presented by 30s of talk at the beginning. The problem is that I have the same song name for the 2 versions...

Is it a functionnality that will be added soon?

You have to place VoiceOver tracks in a separate category.

You can add a category VoiceOver using Categories Manager (Options-Options-Categories) -> See attachment
Now you are able to import your VoiceOver tracks into this category -> See attachment. In Category choose VoiceOver and in Track Type Voiceover
You can also use Track Import instead of Directory Import if you like.

Go to Options-Options-Plugins and choose Search - Track search utility
Zone is the place in the mainscreen (that's up to you where you want to have the Search screen). Check all boxes (Realtime Refresh, Album Search and Advanced Filters. Now in the Fields Settings check any box you like to see in the Search screen.

Once you have set this you will see an extra search sub menu (See attachment). If you want to search in a specific category just check those boxes. If you do not check any boxes you are able to search through the whole database.
