Do You Have Problems with Radiodj 2.0?

Some suggestions:
Is there any other program (like a virusscanner) which could interrupt RadioDJ and might cause this (likely impossible, but you never know).

Did you Verify Tracks (Utilities-Verify Tracks) to see if there is any track not connected to the right map.

So does your News file comes from the right map?

Did you:
Go into track rotations and refresh or rebuild your rotations.
Look in Tracks Manager for any Disabled/Not found tracks and re-enabled them.

Look into this post with some remarks when you update RadioDJ: http://www.radiodj.ro/community/index.php?topic=10667.0

Thanks. The News is a podcast which RadioDJ had no issues with before. Nothing changed except the upgrade. Now it's happening with regular tracks locally. Again, it would play fine for most of the day and then randomly RadioDJ would just stop. I wish there was some logs to look at to support what I'm saying.

I had to rebuild all my rotations manually, by going to each category and updating something. That was so annoying, took me a few days until I finish. Why isn't there a easier way explained?? I hope we don't need to do the same for 3.0. This upgrade to me wasn't clearly thought out for users coming from 1.8.

Yes I do verify tracks every other hour. No Virus scanner installed other than Windows Defender. I've found a few tracks that didn't get deleted during verified tracks, I just deleted them. Also I just checked for disabled tracks, none disabled that the ones not found, so I just enabled all my library. Let's see if it happens again. Thanks for the help so far.

Got to Tracks Manager and check if your files are not disabled.

Are there any plans to make enabling automatically disabled tracks easier.

All of our files and database connections are stored on a central system and not on the broadcast machines. Meaning if there is a slight hiccup in the network, half the playlist gets disabled and will then need to be re-enabled, and with a large library of music, its very difficult to accomplish without having to login to the database and run a query to just re-enable everything the automatic disable...disabled.

I would love to see a system where instead of automatically disabling the files immediately, it would create a notification for the administrator saying "hey this file isn't working, but we'll check again the next time it comes around", if the file is again inaccessible the second time, the system should then disable it, if the file is accessible, the system will continue on as it's supposed to, ignoring or deleting the notification of the file being inaccessible.

I mean I realize that's fairly complicated, but I think that would be much better than just disabling a track. Hypothetically, if an LPFM gets it's top of the hour ID disabled and doesn't catch it immediately, they could get dinged.

I don't know that might be more of a feature request than anything. But my biggest problem is no third-party plugin support in v2, and having to re-enable half my library every time there is a network hiccup.

You could have a look in the Windows Event Viewer
Start>Control Panel>Administrative tools>Event viewer>Windows Logs>Application

Thanks, only thing I found around the time it stopped was this:
svchost (3068,G,0) The beta feature EseDiskFlushConsistency is enabled in ESENT due to the beta site mode settings 0x800000.

So nothing related. Anyway let's see if me deleting and enabling back tracks worked. I'll post back when it happens.

As for my next problem, sound: I'm using MB Recaster with Breakaway Pipeline and I'm hearing little "pops" in sound every few minutes. Can anything be done? I'm unsure if it's a RadioDJ, RadioDJ settings or MB Recaster settings issue. Feel free to listen the stream and see if you hear little silent pops: http://stream.hitzconnect.com

I guess let me rephrase this.I have Icecast for my streaming and i can figure out how to get this going. I moved up from V1.8.2 and i was using the A******t Plugin. This worked smoothly but now i cant seem to find anything to get my music and show out to heard. I love the new interface it just seem a bit harder to figure things out with it. I guess i just have to get use to it. But as of now it seems solid. I just have a few learning curves to get over. As far as the Track manager i am good with that one.

RadioDJ streaming to a icecast server with MB Recaster free version explanation is here.

Currently on
RDJ V 2.0.4.8
MariaDB V 10.6.21
WIN 11 PRO

I have yet to see any issues with 2.0. The only things I have seen are cosmetic and Marius has said he will fix them in the next version. The main thing I learned was to not update the database from 1.8 but to just start from scratch. New database and new program. I have had zero issues when doing this method.

I did notice however an issue. When I installed RDJ2 on my H Drive i see all the time on my C Drive a RadioDJv2 folder with Reports folder inside of that. Is that a settings that I have to change or a glitch Marius?

It appeared as if was having issues with the upgrade from V1.8.2 to the new 2.0.0.3. So i removed everything and did a fresh install and unfortunately i am having the same problems. I loaded my first 1000 tracks in the new version of RadioDj and created my first Track Rotation. After this i put that into play and i get nothing. When i look at the rotation it currently says 0 tracks available using this rule!.

He-j

If you open Track Manager. Are all the tracks there.

If so are the the tracks enabled or disabled? If disabled you have to set them to enable.
