Smart Timing - odd behaviour ..

Hi all, I'm experiencing an issue with Smart Timing, wondered if anyone else has experienced it ..

I'm handling news with a playlist triggered by an event and occasionally I've noticed that the news file (.mp3 from Dropbox) crashes over the news intro jingle- ie the news starts before the news intro jingle finishes. It doesn't happen every time but  have noticed it a few times over the last 2 to 3 days.

Can't be certain but I think it happens if Smart Timing delays the event because the current track end point is within the Smart Time parameters.

Anybody have any ideas what could cause this?

You could possibly try putting in a manual '2 second wait' event into the news playlist to force the intro to finish before it plays the news itself?  I had a slightly different issue where I used this solution, but it may work for you too?
