Thanks for the effort, much appreciated!

However, I still couldn't make it work. Is the intro jingle set to overlay? Any cue points set? If so, how?

No overlay, only the intro jingle has a Next after the announce and 3 seconds bed.

I would like to know how do you use this plugin. It would be enough to be a single plugin event action when will say the time and lower the volume of the playing track, without interfering with the automated/assisted mode?

I use it both as a standalone event as part of a rotation and as a top of the hour playlist, using a short bed underneath introducing the news. The only way I could get it to work was cue the bed by not using the "intro", but moving the "next" up to where I wanted the SayTime to fire. The bed 'Ducks" in volume when the time is announced, then returns to normal volume. The only thing is that the news (an Internet stream) doesn't play until the bed has finished. There is no slight overlap. Is there is a way to overlap the music bed end over the start of the news stream?

Please test this version which was coded from scratch. This version also has a volume level setting, because in my tests i found that some files are recorded using a lower volume than normal.

Hi Marius, I extracted both files into my plugins folder (after backing up the original dll), restarted RDJ, but haven't noticed any difference. Did I set it up right? Does it matter that I'm using 2.0.0.1 and not 2.0.0.3? I notice there is now an XML file, where does this go if not with the other plugin files (dll and xml files). Does having an xml file mean it's now configurable? If so, how? There is no change when you try to change it's settings under config. the version there is 4.1.0.0.

Sorry for the additional questions, but like you, I'd love to see this resolved, making an awesome piece of software even better!

Thanks for your help, Marius.

What do you mean by "haven't noticed any difference"?
PS: When downloading archived files from the internet, sometimes windows will block those files. To unblock them, right click on the downloaded archive and check UNBLOCK, like in this image:

Then you just unzip the files and use them normally.

I applied the unblock suggestion, and yes it appears the bed ducks in volume more when saytime plays. I think part of the problem is, I have already reduced the volume of the bed in audacity where the saytime plays over, so it was hard to tell the difference between this and the original saytime settings.

Thanks again for your help!  :)

I tested this new plugin. I had to rebuild the event from the begining because the old one didn't work anymore. I noticed (I use the english voice, the one it's downloadable on radiodj site), that the hour and minute announcements are too close, compared to the old version so that it sounds strange.
