playlist from rotation

Hello everyone,
I'm using 2.0.0.3 version and I have a problem with creating playlist from rotation. When I click to the option open a playlist from rotation, the name of the playlist changes to new rotation playlist but except that nothing happens (my playlist is not created) and I don't know why. Does any one know why?

Presuming you have sufficient tracks in your rotations.

1. go to Playlist Builder
2. select Open Playlist from File menu
3. select third option Playlist From Rotation > select the rotation from where you want to retrieve the tracks and select the minutes (the more minutes the more tracks)
4. select OPEN > on the right side you will see the tracks appear
5. you can add and delete tracks
6. select Save Playlist from the File menu and enter a name in the field New Playlist.
7. select SAVE

The only thing I can think of is that no tracks are added in that rotation. The tracks should be added in a category and subcategory. In rotations you can select the category and subcategory (i.e. category Music, subcategory Top 40).

Actually, I have also tracks in my rotation....

If I am the only one who has this problem in 2.0.0.3 version, I will uninstall and install again radio dj

When you open Playlist Builder do you see tracks on the left side?

If so, what if you select Category Music and a Subcategory? (see attachment).

All your tracks should be at least in Category Music and a Subcategory when you imported them in RadioDJ

yes I see the tracks on the left side, they are all in a category and sub category (see the attachment). But nothing go to the right side when I want to use playlist from a rotation. I also tried to install the version 2.0.0.0 and the version 1.8.2 but I still have the same problem....

you have to already have a category rotation built first.

Thank you for your reply. But I already have a category rotation and it works well when I use auto dj. I just noticed now that the 3 buttons on the bottom right side of playlist builder screen doesn't work also

TBH I have no idea what those 3 buttons are supposed to do anyway.

Where exactly are you clicking to open a playlist from a rotation? You need File>Open playlist>Playlist from rotation

P.S: In future can you open a fresh topic if you require help with something I've only just noticed you hijacked someone else's thread which now is going to make things confusing.

Check your rotations entries by clicking on the edit next to a rotation item and see how many tracks it says you have available from that rotation entry see the example... Bottom left side it tells you how many tracks are available.



I'd also not use "random" in track rotation use Least recently played or least times played, you also need the repeat rules enforced otherwise it will play the same stuff over and over.

Pre play a selected track.
Works if Monitoring (CUE) is set.

I have 71 available tracks for the subcategory on time and 47 for the subcategory 2015-2017.

I changed the selection mode to Least recently played, but it still doesn't work
