Tracks repeating despite rules

No impossible.

It's even repeating tracks in categories where there are 500+ songs..

Is there someone who could do a TeamViewer or a GoToMeeting with me to view the whole configuration? I feel like we're getring nowhere here.

I see that for some subcategories you are using the same rules ("least recently played"). If you say that you have tracks that never played, you could combine "least recently played" with "least times played", in this way the playcount should balance. Having the same rules all the time for a subcategory is not recommended because at some point you can end up playing tracks in the same order.

Ok, did change that. Will help when all those problems will be fixed. If they can be fixed?

Other problem on top of the multiple problems that I'm experiencing: folder sync does not work.

So......
-It doesn't keep any track count
-High rotation songs are repeating themselves every hour.
-Low rotation songs are being picked over and over again even if there are 500 other songs in their categories.
-Impossible to build a playlist based on rotations - nothing happensà
-Event logs stays empty
-Folder sync is not working.

Please help me!!! Is this software supposed to do all the things it says it does? Because something is really not right here!

When I try to generate a report, it says No Results, like if nothing has been playing.

Looks like you can only read from the database.

Since you're getting no results, that means that either your database is corrupted/incomplete, or the history doesn't get updated, which would explain many of your problems.
Please make a backup of your database upload it somewhere and post a link to take a look.

OK I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything. Now, it keeps count of the tracks and I can generate a report.

I will see this afternoon if the repeat rules are respected.

But, I still can't build playlists based on rotations.

I would like to mention that, in the past, I have had issues similar to this as well. Sometimes, either corruption or database permissions will prohibit the proper execution of the UpdateTracks procedure in MySQL. This is what controls the track history as well as marking spin counts and datetime stamps for rotation rules. When this procedure does not operate correctly, spin counts, history, and rotation rules will also not operate correctly.

Also I don't see any Least TIMES Played just Least RECENTLY Played.  For me that helps and can make a difference too.
