I haven't stepped up to 2.0.0.5 yet, but have been experiencing glitchy audio since the Windows 10
version 1803 update (April 2010) which occurred sometime in May on my system.
I get delays and stutters usually while listening to streaming audio with the VLC player and iTunes. There's a neat little app called
LatencyMon to check your system for running audio suitably. Mine has failed and I am now trying to track down the cause.
It could be due to the Windows updates in conjunction with the Meltdown and Spectre patches which are destined to reduce performance in the way our cpu's handle interrupt requests and other critical operations. Or, it could be something else . . . Sigh.

The wonderful world of computing.
