Do as follow:

1. prepare a jingle for example: "the exact time is offered by" and save it in the jingle category.
2. prepare a manual event for say time.
new event, event type - manual event, add action, plugin, say time: schedule hour announcement. save with name. This is the manual event.
3. Open playlist builder and prepare a playlist with 1. jingle, 2 manual saytime event (you can find it at the top events menu). Save the playlist (eg Say Time).
That's all.
Now go back to the events and make a new event that repeats every hour or whenever you want, loading the playlist (eg Say Time), top.

At the set time the playlist is loaded at the top of the playback and when the song ends it is played in sequence, "offered by" and the announcement of the exact time, without interrupting anything.

I went back to v2.0.0.3 and copied the SayTime plugin into v2.0.0.5, then set both vo and cold announce as events. It works very well for me.

SayTime v4.1.2.0 plugin With rdj v.2005 is working.
It will not work as you don't follow the instructions of Marius.
VO  lower the music and say time, else mute the music and say time.

Marius instructions:
QuotePlease check the download page in the section "Plugins For Latest Version". If necessary right click and check unblock archive after the download.
PS: please add again the event action for it because the old one will not work as it was renamed.

then it is not used in manual event? I placed it in a manual event since I need to give the time after every 5 topics

Marius

Just tested also as a manual event and again, it works without problems. Did you recreated the event as i already said in this topic? The old event action was named "SayTime VO" and the new one is "SayTime Voiceover", so if you created the event with the old version of the plugin, it will not work!

Now with V.2.0.0.6F SayTime is back to work as before and as I wanted.
That is: effect, after one second starts the SayTime till the end of the announce (about 4 seconds), BUT after that the program stops playing.
I tried to add in the event at the end: "Enable assisted", Enable Autodj", "Start Playing" and "Un-Pause" one at a time, but nothing changed  :bash:

Hello @Marius,

Download the latest version of the plugin, and now I have just installed (in my lab) version 2.0.0.6.

I tried SayTime manually (I have the button on the left side of "stop events" pressed it 3 times and this happened:

first click: indicates the current time and minutes
second click: indicates only the current time
third click: no indication

It's almost tragicomic because I have everything updated in the lab, the computer is a windows 10, everything else seems to work fine, database, rotations, etc.. But the plugin has something that doesn't want to work properly.

Unfortunately, the log does not record anything.

Also create a test event, where "PluginAction|Say Time|SayTime|SayTime Voiceover" is executed and after the above, it does not indicate the time.

I closed RadioDJ, ran it again, changed the execution time of the test event and it worked again but only once, after that it does nothing....

I'm baffled about this. I tried to reproduce it in the way you describe it, but it worked every time: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_vik86dM1FdEOhKwNLGA4WAJpubTqqx-

Virus scanner problem?

I've got the antivirus set up so it doesn't consider radiodj a threat. Anyway, I'll run a test by deactivating the antivirus agent.

regards!
