I'm baffled about this. I tried to reproduce it in the way you describe it, but it worked every time: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1_vik86dM1FdEOhKwNLGA4WAJpubTqqx-

Marius,

I'm going to install the same application you use to record the behavior in my lab so you can visualize it. It really works for you... I don't really understand...

Tonight I'll shoot a video and send it to you.

Thank you Marius

I have just upgraded to 2006 and SayTime no longer shows up in the list of plugins.
I have tried deleting and re downloading, but that makes no difference

I've got it!
But I really don't understand why the correct plugin should stay apart from the main program. Because as I explained before: version 2.0.0.6 works but the rotation stops after playing the SayTime. I downloaded and copied the Plugin SayTime v.4.1.2.0 into the Plugin directory and everything works like a charm.

I have the same problem as Rob1957. Even after copying the SayTime plugin from the disabled plugins into the plugin file, I can't find the SayTime in the plugins list. I could not load from the Plugin_SayTimev412 file, either.

I'm also having a problem with the TTS plugin file. RDJ is not running my TTS announcements over music intros.

saytime now if it works both functions- the bad thing is when the time is announced this time on top of the artist and it is cumbersome since you can mix with both voices and you can not place the background music at the time that is an entanglement that is the only detail

Marius,

I upgraded to V2.0.0.6 and I'm having problems with the time announce again.

Using the Time Announce plugin from V2.0.0.6, I've tried to set up an event to play the time announce as part of a programming sequence. Here's what I did:

1) I go to the events list, click on the green + and open the Add or Modify Events window. I create a new event and name it Current Time and set it as a manual event. I click on the green + at the side and open the Event Actions window. Under the Main Actions, I scroll down to Select Plugin Action, then under Available Plugins on the right side of the window, I scroll down to (Say Time) Say Time: Schedule Hour Announcement, then click on Add Action. When that window closes, I click on Add Event.

2) I go to Playlist Builder and open that window. I go to Events and select Add Event, scroll down to Current Time and select it. It shows up in the Playlist Builder column and I click on File, then Save Playlist. I name the file Event Current Time, save it and close the window.

3) I go back to the events list, click on the green + and open the Add or Modify Events window. I go in and create a new event like this:
     NAME: Music Event
     Add: Jingle
     Add: Song
     Add: Event Time Announce
     Add: Promo
     Add: Jingle
     Add: Song
     Add: Clear Playlist

What it should do is play a song, then announce the time and play a promo. What it's actually doing is playing the song, then running the time announce over the promo. It needs a pause like the event used to have.

Also, I have another instance where the event sequence is:
Top of the hour announcement with music bed. (The announcement has a "NEXT" marker when the voice ends so the time announce will run over the music bed.) Then a jingle plays into music. In the old setup, the time announce ends and the song immediately starts. The way it is set up now, the time announce ends, then there is a short silence until the song starts. The time announce is edited so that there is no silence at the end of the announcement, so I don't know why the pause it there.

I have another version of this Event where the time announce voices over the intro of the next song, and it works fine. It's just the sequence where the time announce should be cold that's not working.

If I missed a part of the sequence, let me know and I'll add it in as a modification to this post.

In the video Marius posted, he hits the manual time announce to show that it works with or without music. I noted that OnePlayRadio set up an Event to do something similar to what I'm doing.

Also create a test event, where "PluginAction|Say Time|SayTime|SayTime Voiceover" is executed and after the above, it does not indicate the time.

Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.

ADDENDUM: I noticed, after I finished writing and posting this, that the voice over announcement, which I though was working properly, is now not announcing the minutes. It says something like, "It's Nine..." and ends.
I also tried starting the time announce using the Say Time button, and that doesn't work at all.

Hello Marius,

I shot a video to show you the behavior that happens to me. I also tried disabling the antivirus and it still behaves the same way....

I share the video on this link:

Ok, one last thing to try please: the plugin is using the audio files internally as variable duration files, so the only thing that comes in my mind that can cause such different results can be the threshold values, which may be different between users. For users which the minutes are not working, please set the threshold values as following in rdj options:

Start threshold: -25db
Mix threshold: -15db
End threshold: -28db

After setting them, please try again to see if the minutes are working and report the result here. If this is the problem, i can hard code the values for this specific plugin.
Thank you.

My god that's what you are doing wrong!
I said many times before, but nobody does it: you need to create a short effect (not more than 4") or if you like you can make it with a sound effect + a voice saying "the time is brought to you by Chip Douglas". Load them as "jingle". When you have the jingle loaded into Radiodj open it and set the "next" exactly where you want to start your "Time", click save. Then come back to your playlist builder open a new playlist, drag the jingle you created and put it in the first position and then add the manual event that loads the Time. Save the playlist and then create a new event that loads that playlist every hour or whatever you want.

Marius, I installed v2.0.0.6f and the added the Plugin_SayTimev413 but I could not find the SayTime plugin anywhere in the available plug-ins. I went back to v2.0.0.3 for now. The good news for me is that for the first time, TTS worked for me in v.2.0.0.6f.

I would really like to upgrade to v2.0.0.6. Why didn't the Plugin_SayTimev413 show up on the list of available plug-ins? Any suggestions? Thanks!
