Locked toipic

Personally, I do not like it when someone opens a new topic and then lock it, so that nobody can respond to it 

If this get normal, i don't answer any questions to that person ever!

Sometimes Topics are locked because the poster of that topic has already asked the same question on another topic, I usually lock one so the answers don't get confused between two different posts.

(Its called double posting and is generally frowned upon on most forums)

Topics are usually locked in the Announcements section because there is no discussion needed about the posts on that section of the forum.

Hope that clears that up. Its rare that a topic gets locked sometimes its done to keep the peace around here too.

I am talking about the fact that a topic placer closes it himself immediately after posting it.

Not the same question over and over again (double posting) or the staff post an announcement or close a topic, than there is a massage why!

Its not possible for a user to lock/close their own topics, only moderators can lock /remove topics, So it must have been closed/removed by Marius as I have no idea which post you are referring to Its rare for me to lock/close a topic.
