Its not hard to replicate.....

Grab a few Wave PCM files and leave autoDJ cycle through them until it crashes on 2.0.0.6.

We have reverted back to 2.0.0.3 and its working flawlessly so its the most recent version that has a bug in it. Evidentially rigorous testing was not completed prior to 2.0.0.6 being released with bass.dll which appears to be at fault.

Interestingly enough our sister radio in a box station is running 2.0.0.6 and does not have the same issue.

there is a big difference between a radio in a box and a fully fledged radio studio..... its unfair to try and compare them with each other

A user in the Facebook group "Radio Station Automation" was experiencing a similar problem. All of the .wav files that were at issue were created/saved using Audacity. Could that be your problem?

The thing that i find weird is that if is playing the file manually, it will play just fine, but then, in the rotation randomly will fail.
On my test computer (which is running 24/7) i use a mix of formats for the audio files using rotations and playlists, but never had a similar problem. That was the reason i said that i cannot reproduce it, so i understand why PHAZE FM is upset about my response, but sadly in all these years the conclusion that .NET framework will behave slightly different for each system and environment was confirmed multiple times.

Sorry, I just found this thread myself. I am also having the exact same issue as PHAZE FM, even (for a while) the BASS ENCODER message. I have had it for a while. I was running 1.8.2 and upgraded to 2.0.0.5 on Windows 10 32 bit, but when I converted to Windows 10 64 bit and went to 2.0.0.6 I started having this issue where the playlists suddenly stops at the end and doesn't repeat the rules. I don't know if it is related to my 'events' where the VOA newscast comes on or not ... I have just been trying to track it down without using the forums thinking it was a database error or something like that. 100% of my music is mp3 format.

What can I do to help here?

So, I just watched my VOA Newscast at 6pm mountain time and what do you know - it did not resume the playlist after the "event" that was scheduled for the newscast. Does this help with chasing down a solution?

mmmm I use VOA newscast as an event which loads every 2 hours at half hours, but then the rotation goes on as before

I am starting to think it's a MySql or C++ error of some kind. Any ideas where I could pull some logs and post them for everyone to see?

PhazeFM you can try to use the last RadioDJ and downgrade the bass.dll library, using the version included in rdj2.0.0.3. Maybe the bug can have some correlation with the newer library.

In the italian forum a user has got a similar problem http://www.radiodj.ro/community/index.php?topic=12226.0
In V2.6 he has 6 tracks that disappear everytime he reboots radiodj, that didn't happen with older versions. I suggested to copy an old version of the bass library into v2.6. Any idea?
