radiodj and voicemeeter distortion

I'm using Radio DJ 2.0.0.3 and Voicemeeter Banana. My site will play for hours, even days with no trouble...then it will go into a very bad distortion mode. I reset the Voicemeeter then everything is okay for awhile, maybe days, maybe hours. What is causing this to happen?
