@Music Box: i'm unable to reproduce this. Can you detail step by step how did you do it and didn't worked?
@Vanlen: yes i wrote on the previous beta that is a known issue. Actually is not implemented yet in the new AutoDJ engine, but in 2-3 days will be back again.

A problem if autodj is triggered does not create music in rotation it hangs

Did you made a fresh install with a new database?
And off course did you made a new rotation?

I did a fresh v2.0.1.2 install with a fresh database. I loaded about 2k tracks with few jingles and build 2 rotations. It works steady, of course it's not like my "on air". I miss teaser, sweepers and other stuff. Testing...
It doesn't work "Keep in playlist": it doesn't change the number of tracks loaded if I change the number.

I've reinstalled the 2012 beta this morning gone through setting by setting and restarted between changing settings to see what may have been causing my issue(s)  and wouldn't you know it... Its working just fine this time round.


I replaced the search plugin so I'm beginning to wonder if that was the root of the issue... anyway. I better do a backup now I have songs imported and a rotation built.

These things are sent to try us. If I notice anything untoward I'll report back.

Today I again downloaded radiodj 2.0.2.3 created new database
Installed and replaced the search plugin
Fixed the problem of whose point, now it works well
Built new rotation,   it seems to work well.

Win10/MariaDB Radiodj 2.0.1.2 3rd Beta with the searchPlugin.zip replacement.

Running now over 24 hours - No Errors of note in the event log.
Fired up the 2.0.1.2 3rd Beta RadioDJReports and choose yesterday and today's date and Rotations, events, & manual events firing and performing as timed etc in the list report. (which seemed quicker)

Progress update... Since I fired RadioDJ up and clicked play at around 9am this morning it hasn't spluttered or complained once. There are NO errors in the error logs...

It seems stable here too.

No show stoppers to speak of...

It's running smootly, but testing I played with "NowPlaying Info" and clicking on "Update Title" the program shuts down. I get this message in the "Logs" "ExceptionLogs":

Another question about Teaser:
There is no way to set a teaser in the Teaser Plugin and no way to load a teaser from the Track Import or Directory Import. Did you forget it?

EDIT: I have found you can set a Teaser under Track, but still no way to set a teaser in the Teaser Plugin.

SayTime:
I could not reproduce what I have on v1.8.2 and even in v2.0.0.9: a 4 seconds bed starts and after 1 second I have the saytime voice over the bed. I tried the 3 options, they all work but none of them can do that. Maybe there is another way of doing this.

Just fired the 2012 beta up this morning to find it had lost most of my plugin settings and that they moved them back into their original zone yet I'd moved them into another zone
Only thing I've noticed that may cause people issues.

Plauri, in version 2.0.1.2 Beta for say time I solved this way and works:
  Effect from 2 seconds,    actionISay plugin TimeISay time,    3 seconds effect

- Thanks for the "Update Title" issue. I fixed it.
- I'm not sure that i understand your teaser issue. The way it works is the same from the first version. In the plugin settings you link the intro/transitions/endings subcategories and the tracks from the playlist must have the HOOK IN/OUT cue points set when generating teasers.

@DJ Garybaldy: the code for settings loading/saving is the same for many years, nothing changed. Perhaps the program was still using them when the computer closed and they got corrupted?

I closed the software before I switched off the machine as I normally do. There was no sudden shut down of anything.
