Moving RDJ to a new PC!!
« on: November 24, 2018, 09:20:46 PM »
Hi, I've bought a new PC which I plan to use as my new main RDJ computer. What's the easiest way to accomplish moving RDJ to the new PC. FYI, I don't know what my SQL username and password was!! Your help would be appreciated

Assume that you can make a backup of the database.

Do that and use restore on the new PC
install on the new pc a new database server
Setup radiodj on the new pc and run the c:\RadioDJv\Setup\Database Setup.exe

And do the restore database.

Setup radiodj on the new pc and run the c:\RadioDJv\Setup\Database Setup.exe

And do the restore database.

You don't need any setup of radiodj with old versions 1.7+ simply copy the radiodj directory to the new pc, maybe only setup your new audio card

Thank you everyone. I'll back up my data base and get started.
