Repeat event by date range

I have found the repeat by date option useful.  A great addition to this would be to be able to select a date range to have an event run (including still having the day/time tick box options available).

A couple of scenarios where I see this as being very useful.

1. In the lead-up to Christmas, maybe there are some special tracks, rotations, or liners to play on, for example, just the 12 days before Christmas day itself.  Using the date is useful because the days of the week change each year.

2. Father's day may happen in the first Sunday of September.  Rather than changing the date of a special event every year, being able to select 'Sunday' in the tick box but a date range of 1st - 7th September, it would work every year.

In case you don't know... a work around for now would be to create an event that enables/disables event categories at certain dates/times.  So, imagine you have an event that enables the one(s) that run your Christmas programming starting December 24th, and also disables your Regular Programming Events.  Then you have another event that does the opposite December 26th that puts you back into regular mode.

Events Categories can be used to do some really cool stuff if you sit and think about how to use them to their potential.

Thanks PROducer, yes that's what I currently do for our month lead-up to Christmas and a couple of other annual events.

I just have to remember all the different event categories I've created, which is where a repeat by date range, including days and hour options, would streamline this and work even better.

Thanks again for your tip, as it is a very useful one for now.
