Track starts playing twice when Disable Event Categor is in sequence

Good day everyone!
Having a strange little problem - a track plays twice (starts playing two times within a fraction of a second and so the sound doubles in the beginning) if "Disable Events Category" is in the sequence, it does not do so when that line is removed. Any ideas of why and how can I prevent this from happening:)?
I am attaching an example of event programming in it's most minimal state where the problem persists. I have tried this on two different machines and it just does that.
