RadiDj 1.8.2 cuts variable files

over time I created a working copy of the installation with RadioDj 1.8.2 which now runs on Win10 pro and 6 radios.

For about 2 months without a reason surprise cut the variable files (news). The configuration of the file, opening the file has no constraint except the usual flags; Higt Precision Cue Poits.Play as Overlays and files of varying duration. The file results without end or next setting. Has anyone had the same problems?

When you use VDF (Variable Duration File) you can't set Next and End settings. They are not there just because it's a VDF file, so it's correct.

Well i am using VDF and have no problems at all. There should be no cue points at all on those files. If they are, it will cut at that point. Remove the file from de DBase, import again as VDF and you'll see you can't set any points.

As FreerunMedia said there is nothing wrong. This function (VDF) has never changed, it's always been like this. It's not a database problem.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but it is not so, the files are in native VDF, it has been deleted from the DB and reloaded and the problem continues to be there, moreover now suddenly even the file does not play automatically after the base. The same configuration is on its other servers and works properly.

I don;t know what you are doing before you import the file but i can't reproduce the problem in any form i try. Delete the file from DBase, Import the file not as music! Select News or radioshow but not music. Select tracktype before! you import the VDF. So going from the start:
1: Track import
2: Select tracktype ( Variable Duration File )
3: Select category ( News )
4: Select subcategory ( Doesn't matter what you choose )
5: select file.

after this you should hear the file and the cue editor box should be greyed out. Hit "IMPORT" and it should be working. High Precision Cuepoints should not matter but play as overlay will.

Also keep in mind that any event thet starts at a fixed time with the "PLAY NOW" option, kicks out the news before the news ends!

Mine started doing the same thing recently. No rhyme nor reason for it. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't

I confirm, even in my case it happened suddenly and for no apparent reason, maybe Marius can help solve the problem.

So the problem is not solved. What DBase are you running? I got problem when running MySQL. I switched to MariaDB and everything is working without any problems.

thanks for the interventions, I use the same DB as you but without reason and without a precise statistic the news slightly longer than average are cut suddenly.
