I'm having a problem with SayTime, I put the plugin in the Plugins folder as well as the folder containing the audio files but you don't hear anything the player goes to the next track without announcing the time.

You have to create a folder within the Plugins folder and the name of this folder has to be Plugin_SayTime (see attachment 3).

In this folder Plugin_SayTime you have to put all the time tracks (see attachment 4). Here you can find the different languages :https://radiodj.info/downloads/say_time_lang.php

1. prepare a manual event for say time (see attachment 1)
- new event
- event type - manual event
- add action, plugin, say time
- save with name

2. Open playlist builder (see attachment 2) and prepare a playlist with:
1. jingle
2. manual saytime event (you can find it at the top events menu). Save the playlist (eg Say Time).

That's all.

Now go back to the events and make a new event that repeats every hour or whenever you want (see attachment 5), loading the playlist (eg Say Time), top.
Set the Event hour at 00:59:55 and NOT i.e. 14:00:00. The hours should be set in the Hours section.

At the set time the playlist is loaded at the top of the playback

Watch out, say time is using two different mp3's for the hour.
For example at midnight on the hour itself (00:00) RDJ is using "hrs00_o.mp3"
The other one "hrs00.mp3" is used in combination with minutes.
So "hrs00.mp3" will not run on 00:00

I followed the guide you recommended step by step but you still don't hear the time. I'm freaking out, I don't know what to do anymore

Please send the screenshots of the events and the playlist so I can take a look if the settings are correct.

Could you also check how you have set your sound card for Say Time (see attachment). To hear Say Time you need to select a sound card channel at Sweeper/VO.

The sound card is the same one where the audio stream comes out I have a laptop and I only have this output.

The fact is that if I put the time signal in the queue it works while in rotation with AutoDJ it doesn't work

Say Time can only be set in an event if you want to play it at a certain time, that is what you probably mean.

So I still think that one or more settings in your event(s) is/are not correct.

Could you send a screenshot of the events and the playlist so I can take a look if the settings are correct.

Ok ora sta funzionando mah!

massimino

Why is AutoDJ blocking me following the guide above that you advised me after the time signal?

He-j

It still can be a setting in the events. So could you send the the screenshots so I can have a look.

You have set the time at 00:55:59.
Should this not be 00:59:55.
