Voicemeeter banana audio question

Now that I have everything working in Voicemeeter Banana, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any software that I can use so that I don't have to turn the volume down (or turn off A1) for radiodj to be able to hear my desktop (youtube, etc.,). I use my usb headphones and when I turn down Voicemeeter aux to listen to pc, the signal in MB Recaster drops so my station can't be heard. Just wondering if there is some sort of program I can use to prevent this from happening. I get close to 100 submissions a week and hate turning down radiodj to sort through them.

Depending on your VoiceMeeter Banana setup it's quite easy.   In Settings make sure that VB is available on your system tray.  A1 is your Main Speaker Outputs and whatever you send to B1 or B2 to your encoder will always be sent.  On each strip there is A1, A2 etc.   Just punch A1 Button off on the Virtual (B1 or B2  Vaio or AUX) you've chosen to send output to your encoder. Completely seperate strip from your Desktop YT etc.  If I understand how you've set it up.

thanks....will check it out. Appreciate the help! Problem is I get radiodj (Voicemeeter Aux) coming through both B1(VAIO) and B2 and when I turn down B2 the signal to MB turns down and I lose sound on the station.  I will keep plugging away.  ;D

I think that Voicemeter not a RadioDJ product is. Now if you want to listen to your desktop while doing things with RadioDJ is very simple. Just use a second audio card either the on board or an external one. Just select the windows sounds to another sound device and RadioDJ to the other one. Use a normal mixer instead of the software based ones because they can give you more problem than you want. It's software and well, digital processing gives you delay.

For questions about Voicemeter i would sugest to go to the Voicemeter banana forum for the best support on 3rd party software. I can't help with voicemeter because i don't like the software for the simple reason, you can make 20 mistakes with one mouseklick. Please just use a mixer and connect it op the normal way. That is the best thing to do for the best results.

Thanks for the advise - yepper, Voicemeeter Banana gave me hours of grief and believe me, tried the VM forums but have yet to receive any help 7 days later. All working now (except the separation issue ) but will follow your advise on both the sound card (have an exterior one) and the mixer. Thanks!

All is well now....and yep, simple things overlooked was all it was.  :)
