Setup Help

I recently purchased a USB Mixer (Behringer Xenyx 1204USB) I am having an issue setting it up.

All I want is RadioDJ out to the mixer so I can control the volume from the mixer.
My microphone is also XLR into the mixer so I can control the volume of it as well.

When I go to the encoder and choose the USB Codec, I get an echo or something does sound in Stereo. Do I need to use something like Voicemeter Banana too?

I have tried a bunch of different ways from Line In to another USB Sound Card, It's all the same.

I thought making the switch to a USB Mixer would be easy, but it hasn't been so far.

Any help would be appreciated. I have read through the forums, even my old posts, the setup on the website, youtube videos. I can't figure it out.

Thanks

You need to keep in mind that the echo you hear could be the input to the output send back to the input and so on. To prevent this, select within RadioDJ any output that isn't used by windows! So if you use left/right front for windows sounds, switch RadioDJ Main out to Left/Right rear. With the Xenix you can use the on board USB codec but you need to select the Main out RadioDJ to the on board audio output of the computer. Select the input for the encoder to USB output1. That way you should hear the main out of the mixer on the encoder. And the sounds coming from RadioDJ through audio output of the computer.

Sounds dificult but to keep it simple, just run all the going "lines" through your head and walk those lines. So start with your microphone and walk the signal line through. Do the same with RadioDJ line and if you see that some lines come together, that is were your problem is.
