RadioDJ 1.8.2 Windows 10 - Showing Relay Info Using Tages
« on: October 06, 2019, 02:45:19 PM »
The title says it all I have a relay station I setup for all of our club members & we use Radio DJ 1.8.2 on Windows 10 Pro.

I'm the leader of the club - so I am the head end of the club relay network. We use a special VPN I made using Server 2019 which works great to make our self connect in almost real time & not worry about the public having access to the stream since we want to be able to run it to our FM & AM relay stations without the public having to get access - due to licensing but we do want the Radio DJ software to reflect what's being played from my station which is the head end. I see that radio DJ offers these options below: I want to use internet stream (which is closed circuit) but still have the relay stations stream from our head end properly I see I can use the number 5 as a tag but what tag would I use to compliment the number 5 tag. I see these options below - which one would compliment the number 5 tag for internet streaming and properly identify the tracks between our privately operated club relay station.

Edited: To clarify I want the head end to relay it's database & metadata / tags to the relay stations using icecast / shoutcast via http.

I’m not sure I understand

You want the head end to send metadata about song artist and title, and have the relay stations read his and send it to their listeners via Now Playing plugin?

How are the relay stations broadcasting? Fm antennas with RDS? Or internet http like shoutcast?
