Radio Freja Chill

This is a 2 in one question. Hope its ok...

What I need to know after wandering around in the universe that is RadioDJ.

Is there a way for the Jingles not to be shown in Now Playing ? Some of them it shows The Radiostation name and slogan but not in all.....

And for the second one.

Is there a way to make the event cut off the current playing song and start on the clock when loaded ? Not letting the song play through ?

That should be it for now. You guys are so great at helping... It is much appreciated.

To answer your first question, yes.

Click on Configuration (the wrench in the lower right hand corner, then to Plugins. In the Now Playing plugin, click on the Settings. In the Now Playing Info Exporter, click on Filters. Uncheck the Jingles and they won't show up on your metadata stream.

Hope that helps!

Hi Chip..

I do not have that option. I saw the filter option was present in the new beta of AutoDJ, but not in the version 2.0.0.6

Do I really have to update to a beta to make this work ?

The filters have only just been added into the betas I'd wait to update if 2.0.0.6 is working OK for you. Beta versions shouldn't be used in a production environment.

Try going into Stream Titles from the options menu and on track types jingle etc just use $station_name$ $station_slogan$ on track types for jingles/sweepers/promos.

That will only output the name of your station when a jingle plays. Its a work around for now until the new version comes along.

I see..

Well It already says that for Jingles. And some of the Jingles are shown as Station and slogan, but some slips througt and are displayed as the Jingle name

Easy.  After you have loaded the new items into the playlist, the last command of the event needs to be play, which will fade out current and start the item at the top of the queue.
