adding artist liner to their new single

Hey there,
Using 1.8 and 2.0
Well Ive gone through as much tutorial and professional phone instruction as i can and even
folks that have used this program are baffled. I am running a daily rotation. I want to add an artist liner
and attach it to a particular song. I do everything in order as it is supposed to be. The sweeper is set for START.
3rd position in rotation. So when rotation comes up sweeper is in the right slot but it plays on a random song.
So with my veteran RDJ instructor, I manually input the sweeper to the song in line to be played. Now that played just fine
and sounded great. Problem is the next #3 in rotation comes up its another random song.
Can anyone clear the air here of why this is happening? I dont have a sweeper attached to any other songs.  My instructor adds them manually since they are live with DJs.
He tried attaching sweeper to the song in track edit and had the same no go results of it not attaching.
Is the info in the attached photo correct? Both stations are set up different it looks like.

You need to understand two aspects on how sweepers work:
1. When you set a sweeper to be played in the rotation, you basically tell the program that you want to have a sweeper on a rotation position, not a particular song. Based by the playing history and repeat rules, it can be virtually any song which will be selected by the autodj for that position.
2. When you set one or multiple sweepers to a particular song, it doesn't mean that anytime you play that track it will play also the sweeper. It just means that whenever the rotation will select that song it will play one of the sweepers assigned to that song, instead playing one randomly.

So as you see, right now the rotation dictates when a sweeper is played, you cannot set a song to play always with a sweeper and ignoring the rotation rules. If users think that this would help them, i can implement this, but most station are following a strict format.
