RadioDJ and Edcast Standalone

Hi,

I've setup RadioDJ and using Edcast Standalone Pluggin (encoder) for Up-streaming to my existing Site. The setup worked briefly but the was a problem with the intake (the feed was picking up PC system sounds), and after I had disabled the these, and attempt to connect the Edecast Encoder, the connection works fine, but the is no audio sending to the Upstream (Streaming).

Please advice, on could be the problem now.

What is the BEST Recommended Encoder one can use. I've now installed MB which looks like it is working but NO audio output to the stream......

Try a different Stand Alone encoder

Edcast never was that great it had many issues that were never sorted before Oddsock stopped developing it.

well i have gone back to edcast i have run / simple cast / secaster / butt / etc but the old ones are the best for me

I couldn't get Edcast to run on Windows 10 when I attempted it last week.  Despite me installing the right files and (Visual basic) patches.


So far Sound Empire caster seems to be chugging away streaming to a server quite nicely.

You can run with whatever stand alone encoder you want at the end of the day. Its whatever works for you and your station.
