we already fixed this using the Now pLaying Web Export tab.

You're right Bill. The problem with your first plugin was your ID3 tags in the mp3 files.

If you rip your own CD the ID tags will be empty. You need something like Tag & Rename to create the tags. It's relatively easy and most of the tag info is created in bulk, like the artist and album name. You only need to insert the song name and album art. FYI, for social media, the album art should be a minimum of 600x600 pixels.

If you download an mp3 file, the tag is probably not going to be complete or not going to be what you want. Again, Tag & Rename.

If your files have proper tags, including album art, then RadioDJ will be able to do much more for you. Everything will be automatically extracted and added to the database and won't need editing. Album art will be extracted and put in your album art folder. And everything will be connected together (mp3, database, album art) properly.

It sounds like a daunting task if you have a lot of files but in the long run everything will work much better and editing/adding new files in the future will only take a few minutes.

When I process a single file I add (Single) to the end of the song name, and if it's a single, the song name and album name should be the same. Using Tag & Rename I then use a file mask to convert the mp3 name to "Artist - song name - year"

If I process a group of files as an album I use a Tag & Rename file mask to change the mp3 name to "Artist - album name - song name - year"

Why do I do it that way? Because sometimes an artist releases a song as a single, then on an album in another year. Or sometimes an artist has several versions of the same song. What I do allows you to have the same song twice in the database. Once as a single, once as the album version.

On install I got the error "The plugin generated 1 character of unexpected output during activation. If you notice "headers already sent" messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin."

And on my test page the only thing showing with the shortcode [rdj_now] is my default image (in the wrong size) and  - [00:00] beside it

maybe you have ben negatively affected by the events in your country, or your computer crashing, i am sorry.
I sent you the php file, you installed it on your websrver at https://rfu.in.ua/radiodj_nowplaying_file_read_test.php
it was working to get the info sent from radiodj to your php script, and write the song now playing data to a file on the web server and then it could be read and displayed the image. then you stopped the efforts.

I didn't hear from you again after you said you solved that problem. I still have a copy of that file. What am I supposed to do with it? How does it work?

So, as RadioDJNow doesn't work I'll explain to everyone how I got album art to work on my wordpress site in case anyone else wants to do it.

I have the Wordpress 0.70 plugin for RadioDJ. I reinstalled the old Now Playing php script that worked on my old site.

I commented out the section of the Wordpress 0.70 script that showed the "Now Playing" information and inserted the display.php from the Now Playing php script using an iframe. Once Jhonny helped me fix the css script it works perfectly and fits into the theme of my site.

I now have the now playing info (Artist, Title, Album, Year) and the album art displaying on my site.
