Hm... I thought it's already integrated in radiodj as it said on your main page "Integrated Shoutcast/Icecast encoder". Or that's not true?

There used to be an encoder plugin back in the days on v1.8.2.0 but it broke DMCA rules so it became unsupported.

Setting up a standalone encoder is NO MORE difficult than configuring  a built in one.

Ok, I see..., but I don't need a huge library with mysql database, I just need streamer program.

If RadioDJ needing a database is a big thing for you I can understand it being scary but It needn't be.

I tried that program, it streams... but only silence(I tried to stream some flac file) like butt streamer. Mixxx streams well but I cannot found how to mute sound that it only was streaming to icecast and not to hear sound on a local comp.

I'm not sure I'm grasping what it is you are trying to do... 

SEC should pick up audio from your soundcard OR Virtual Audio cable etc....

I don't want the silence. I was trying to stream audio file(flac) to icecast server, and sound empire caster doesn't work -- it stream a file(I see it) but without sound, when trying to play that stream by vlc or in a browser -- there is only silence.
And if I understand right, this "sound empire caster" is just more ugly modification of a butt streamer.

And talking about MB Recaster -- it's ugliest and strange program which ever seen, it doesn't support audio files streaming. And I hope that these mb Recaster and se caster are not malware.

No they dont contain malware.

I still dont get what you want to do....

You Play the audio files in radiodj... That audio gets picked up by the encoding software which then should get sent to your icecast server.

I think what is meant is that TS wants a piece of software that can play files, without the "silence" between the files (i.e. when silence is at beginning/end of track) and does encoding - all in one. And ofcourse all for free, with a nice interface, etc.

Well, RDJ (pre-2.0) versions can do that (although the encoder used isn't supported here), but I think it's a bit of overkill (and too steep learning curve) for TS. On the other hand, I agree with Gary, it can be done with RDJ without too much hassle, but not out-of-the-box. Although the walkthroughs available on the internet will make it fairly easy.

No you wrong, I think I said clearly what I wanted - TO STREAM AUDIO FILE TO ICECAST SERVER(NOT A VOICE FROM MICROPHONE). I didn't know that that streamers which you mentioned(mb recaster and se caster) cannot do that(they stream only live voice like butt streamer). But mixxx and ffmpeg can do that(and live voice also, and much more) and without radio dj program... and for free , those are open source programms.

We're only here to help. And since apparantly both Gary and I don't understand what you try to achieve (and nobody else reacted while there are almost 200 views), I think your assumption that you were clear isn't quite right.

Also, no need to put things in capitals.

RadioDJ is a playout system. In a playout system, one of it's core functionality is to create a "database" of songs that the program can use. Some of these playout systems offer the option of playing tracks that are not in the "database", but RDJ isn't among them. So your requirement of "mixing" tracks without silence can be met with RDJ, but not the requirement of "not having a database". The requirement to be able to stream: with RDJ v2: not out of the box.

So for you is to decide what are your core requirements, put them out and see what software matches those.

I'll put it clear mate you are in the wrong place RadioDJ (as already said) takes tracks stored on your pc and puts them into a DATABASE, THIS IS PLAYOUT SOFTWARE FOR A RADIO STATION AND IS NOT LIVE MIXING SOFTWARE. if you want to stream a few tracks to your mates go to the winamp forums/mixx forums where they will help you but the principle is the same as the advice you have been given here.
