Adjusting Cue points en masse

Hi Everyone,

When staff imported music into RadioDJ originally, they did not check or adjust cue points. This is causing a problem particularly with instrumental, other slow songs and voice tracks. For music, portions of songs are being cut off and have long fade outs. With classical, choral and instrumental music this could be as long as 45 second fade, with the next cue too early, having 2 songs play together for the duration of the fade.

Also, we find voicetracks are trimmed too tight. Every time a voice track is recorded, the last word is usually cut off. We are an easy listening station and prefer to have breathing room between voicetracks and music instead of fast paced constant sound.

I know the cue points can be automated by db level, however this is not always sufficient as voicetracks and music may have too much silence at the end of the song. We find a half second to a second of silence is sufficient between voicetracks. How can we accomplish this and update all tracks en masse. Currently we have 70,000+ tracks and are adjusting cue points manually, which will take a bit of time.

Many Thanks

Sorry found the settings in track manager.

I obviously need to find a manual or other resources instead of relying on the forums here. I still have a lot of questions that go unanswered and searching through old forum messages, this seems to be the same for others as well. Is there another good resource or manual that can help without relying and posting excessively on the forums?

Thanks

Jhonny
