Running Two RadioDJ's with One Database?
« on: April 10, 2021, 07:26:13 PM »
Dear All,

I hope someone can help me with this?

I am looking to run two copies of RadioDJ simultaneously, and have successfully done so, creating two separate databases during the setup process.

However, having done so, it has occurred to me that this is a waste of resources, as the music database is essentially the same, and I don't want to have the situation - which I currently have - where any track I add to one database, has to be added to the other.

But I noted the warning message during setup, that the first database would be over-written by the second, the former of which has a couple of hundred songs uploaded to already.

Is there a way, therefore, to have two separate instances of RadioDJ sharing the same database please? If there is, I hope the solution isn't too complicated, or involves lots of coding!

Thanks for any help you are able to offer.
