Help needed for new project and online radio station.

Hi,

Currently I'm producing daily radio shows and uploading these daily via MP3/MP4, it's not just music but also speech relating to current situations to a growing audience/community and these shows are uploaded to a particular social media platform (not Facebook).

Loyal listeners to each show is reaching around 1500+ and growing. The shows are designed to be upbeat & positive, but I'm now ready to take this to the next level and need to work with someone from the UK (due to the nature of the shows and to be easily available to be contacted). Although I'm great speaking and the shows sound professional my technical knowledge is pretty dire.

I'm ready to take this to a full online radio station, including developing a radio so listeners can listen anytime also via devices such as Google, Alexa but also where listeners can listen back to previous shows. I'll be working from a Mac, I have all the station imaging/logos currently but that's about it. My budget for the station equipment is pretty low and things such as the website costs. Donations are made from listeners but I will also be looking at selling merch from the site and other revenue streams. I have to move fast with this, so if anyone is seriously interested and has free time right now to work with me then please get in touch.

I need someone with fantastic technical knowledge including all the equipment needed to get this going, but also someone who wants to present their own radio show daily.

If you are willing to get a windows based pc - I can help you set up the station/stream - I am unable to help with apple stuff.

I am writing today to offer you a proof-of concept for allowing people to listen to your radio station(s) via a customized skill for the Amazon Echo line of smart speakers, and Amazon Echo Show devices.

I am convinced there is a significant benefit to having a custom skill in the Amazon skill store.

I can send today (upon request) a  short video demo of how such a custom skill would work - which is strictly proof of concept for your review.

A custom skill in the Amazon Skill Store affords you more flexibility and control.

One advantage would be the ability to thank listeners with a message immediately when they open the stream. To open the stream, listeners speak " Alexa, (open), (start), (play) < your station name>"  and the audio would start.

You also have the (advanced) option of having an audio welcome message play before the stream starts ....

Or, with the basic option, having the Alexa voice say "Starting  <your station name>" (slight variation to this phrase may be needed)" (or any variation thereof). Then, the stream would immediately start.

The "Basic" Start/Stop skill with graphics (on devices with a screen) is $35.00* USD. Graphics, and text displayed, and Alexa voice phrases spoken can be customized to meet your needs.

Advanced options are subject to availability, and are available at additional negotiable cost. Additional information about advanced options, and costs are available upon request.

I'm Pretty sure its against ppl & prs rules for a broadcast to be rewindable here in the UK, so it could not be broadcast and then saved for later listening
