RadioDJ v2.0.3.1 Beta Released!
« on: June 09, 2021, 08:56:04 AM »
The new version contains fixes for the bugs reported in the previous version.

It uses the same database schema as the previous beta release, so to update it, just replace the files with the new ones.

I strongly recommend to test the version first and if everything is fine, just then to think to put it in production environment.

PS: Some antivirus may continue to alert you, but it's a false positive. Sorry for that.

Hi Marius, thanks for the great work. It's 15 minutes I'm trying to download the new beta but it doesn't appear on the download page. I have tried with 3 different browsers and hitting F5 like mad, but nothing.  :'(

I hasten to add the No Audio issue happened when I went to install it over 2030.

Now I've given 2031 a folder on it own it is now playing away. All rather strange

Downloaded and put in a new folder.

Copied Album art, installed backup, changed Options to New Folder for MetaData, Album Art, and other tweaks and up and running on a Test Box and Crossing Fingers. :hihi:

Tnx Marius.

For some strange reason Metadata Export isn't populating a NowPlaying text file. I've tried with a different location and it still wasn't writing data to that folder/file

I renamed the current installation folder name to c:\RadioDJ_v2.0.3.0, then installed 2.0.3.1 to new folder c:\RadioDJ.
The database setup screen had deafult values so I needed to re-enter my db user/pwd & dbname. Validation: SQL server online.
Then nothing (I expected RadioDJ to start after the installation.)
I manually start RadioDJ.
The Queue shows audio tracks, but my settings and soundacrds are all default values. Plugin pane locations are all different too.
This did not happen during the upgrade of 2.0.3.0, that version properly read all the settings from the database.
HeidiSQL shows only one database, so RadioDJ did not duplicate the db during setup.
The file settings_dataabse.xml has key named StoreSettingsToDatabase, with value False.
I tried changing it to True, save file, launch RDJ.
Still did not load old settings from database.
I renamed all *.xml files with leading underscore, then copied *.xml files from version 2.0.3.0 and pasted into v 2.0.3.1 folder, launched RDJ, this time it started autodj and started automation playing, soundcards were correct, but plugin pane locations are still not same as the previous version layout.

thanks or fixing the events button enable/disable bug, but it still blinks red when disabled. oh well.

Uhmmm...
I've tried the voicetracks and the cue bug is still there unfortunately.

This is the scenario:
Song1 - Start 0, Intro 16, VT1 Intro 15
Song2 - Start 29, Intro 12 (after the 29 of the start), VT2 Intro 35
Song3 - Start 0, Intro 13, VT3 Intro 21

Behaviour:
VT1 catches the Intro of Song1 as expected.
VT2 overlaps the switch between Song1 and Song2 and catches the Intro of Song2 as expected
VT3 Starts few seconds after Song3 and plays over and after the Intro point of Song3 (while I expected it to play over the switch between Song2 and Song3 till the Intro point of Song3).

Temporary Edit Cue window now reports the cue points correctly.

Marius, can you fix this problem please? ;)
If you need further info just message me.

Thanks a lot!
Flavio
